Feasibility studies
By means of a feasibility study, we evaluate whether the realization of an hydropower plant or of an hydraulic work is feasible, providing all the useful elements to determine the real actualisation of the project.
The elaboration of a feasibility study follows two consecutive phases:
Knowledge of the site
– We will perform the visit to the site aimed at knowing the affected areas with particular focus on the accessibility, interferences, potential main issues etc.
– We will carry out analyses on the main hydraulic and environmental restrictions and we will identify the authorization procedures
– We will evaluate the hydropower potential (KWh/anno) of the site based on the available elements.
Economic and technical feasibility study
In the second phase we will study a design solution which fit with the circumstances and we will perform:
- A general hydrological study
- The preliminary computation of the main plant’s components, with an estimation of the annual electricity generation and of the construction costs.
- Technical drawings showing the selected plant’s layout.
- A preliminary estimation of the production.
- A preliminary estimation of the construction costs.
