Sinni aqueduct due diligence

The verification of the executive project was provided, which envisaged the installation of two hydroelectric power plants for the recovery of energy from the available hydroelectric potential along the 65 km of the DN3000 aqueduct connecting the Monte Cotugno reservoir to the Ginosa basin. The service included: verification of producibility and available head, identification of critical issues related to design and co-use with the primary aqueduct function, hydraulic compatibility study of the installation of hydroelectric plants within the existing aqueduct system, including modeling of transients in varied motion along the entire conduit, and a study of construction phases to minimize supply interruptions during the works.
